Smaller monthly donations add up to a much larger impact over a year of giving. Gifts equivalent to a cup of coffee or a dinner out can make a huge difference when compounded over a year. While a one-time gift of $300 could allow a wounded service member to participate in a Team Hope For The Warriors® event, by covering travel, lodging, and registration costs, this may be a difficult donation to make at once. A monthly gift of $25 would have the same level of impact over a year.

Monthly donations give Hope For The Warriors® a steady stream of reliable support, which enables the organization to recruit additional service members to participate in our Sports and Recreation programs and other events. Monthly giving allows the organization to have better planning and flexibility to support as many military families as possible.

Here are some examples of what monthly donations for one year can do for service members through Hope For The Warriors® Sports and Recreation Programs:

$1 a month: Provides a meal to a service member at a hunting or fishing trip 

$5 a month: Gives a Team Hope For The Warriors® Jersey to a new Warrior Team Member

$10 a month: Covers lodging for a handcyclist in the Marine Corps Marathon

$20 a month: Provides transportation for a competitor in the Valor Games

$50 a month: Helps buy adaptive athletic equipment for a warrior athlete

Three people giving $100 per month: Provides a new handcycle for a wounded service member to help in his or her recovery process by allowing them to stay active and compete in races
