Emergency Assistance



Volunteer firefighters at Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Deparmtent in Hubert, NC need your help!

The Bear Creek Fire Department will be taking donations and delivering the supplies to families in the areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy.  They are collecting supplies and are asking for donations from area residents.  The fire department has a 20-foot trailer and a 12-foot trailer and they would like to fill both trailers up.  They will leave as soon as the trailers are full.

Supplies Needed:


Water in 12-ounce, 24-ounce or gallon jugs
Nonperishable foods
Blankets (unused)

If you are outside of the Camp Lejeune/Hubert area but would still like to help, Hope For The Warriors® is supporting the Fire Department's efforts by paying for their gas and other necessary expenses.  Your help is needed!  Please donate online today.

Families in Need:

The firefighters are taking our list of service members and veterans in need in these areas.  If you know a military family in need, please contact Jordan Murray(jmurray@hopeforthewarriors.org) with their name, address and if there is some way for us to communicate with them.
